Comfort American Kitchen at River Oaks Golf Course is perched atop the hill overlooking River Oaks Golf Course. What started as a Cal Poly senior project has grown to a collaboration of seven local restaurants that continually bring creative, locally sourced dishes to our area. Sister restaurants include Streetside Ale House, Jack’s Bar and Grill, Guest House Grill and Cielo Ristorante & Rooftop Bar.
Featuring: The Dulcie Taylor Band
Dulcie Taylor is an award-winning singer/songwriter best known for her contemporary folk and country songs, in addition to performing popular covers from the Rolling Stones to the Supremes.
Social hour: 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm
Wines will be available for purchase by the bottle, and a full bar serving your favorite cocktails!
Buffet Dinner: 7:00 pm
Music and Dancing: 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Eight-hour braised short ribs, pan sauce demi glaze

Served with whipped potatoes and “dirty” roasted baby carrots with pistachio crumbs, honey, goat cheese and a fresh herb balsamic reduction

Fresh garden salad with mixed greens, garbanzo beans, sunflower seeds and tomatoes

Desserts: Double layer chocolate cake, house baked with chocolate ganache and fresh berries, and cheesecake topped with fresh berry coulis and powdered sugar

Registration closes:
September 27 at 8 pm (or when capacity is reached)
There will be no new registration after the deadline or once the event is sold out. If the event sells out, you may add your name to a waiting list.

Pre-payment is appreciated as it simplifies and expedites event check-ins.

Payment at event is accepted if you are pre-registered. Cash or check is accepted; to expedite check in, please be prepared with:
- Check, pre-written to North County Newcomers Club
- Cash, exact change
Cancellation deadline:
If you need to cancel, it must be by September 27 at 8 pm. If you make a reservation and do not attend, you are still responsible for its payment.
Please note reservations are non-transferable and non-refundable after the published cancellation date.
Important health and safety notice:
All attendees (members and guests) at any NCNC sponsored event or activity, must be fully vaccinated. Moreover, at any large gathering, including but not limited to monthly general meetings and wine club meetings, proof of vaccination will be required.
